I finally deleted all the music on my iTunes that reminded me of Junior High. Wow, that was long overdue.
Goodbye Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan, and Good Charlotte. I have no idea what you were still doing in my music library.

The Atheist’s Challenge
- Where do you get your morality from, and please explain your morality. From a sense that we, as humans, are a collective group of organisms that need to work together, not against each other to continue striving as a species.
- Why do you accept evolution? Explain how you came to your conclusions. It’s the most logical explanation proposed thus far.
- What is the meaning and purpose of your life? Eat, Sleep, Reproduce. Help others do the same.
- What is the greatest thing you have ever done for others? Worked with them through difficult times in their lives.
- Would you kill for atheism? No, that is one reason I reject other organized religions.
- Why are you an atheist and consider your position valid? We all want to be right. To clarify, an atheist doesn’t necessarily state outright that there is no higher power. They believe there is no higher power, just like Christians believe there is a god. Knowing and believing are two different things.
- If you died and discovered a god existed, what would you say to he/she/it? I’d call him an absentee landlord. Then apologize and ask for forgiveness.
- What religion is more dangerous in your eyes today and in the past? All of them.
- Name three peaceful religions you have no issue with? I don’t know enough about the various religions, so I am not sure I know of any “peaceful” religions.
- What would it take for you to believe in a god? Evidence. Lots of it. You need evidence to believe in something, you don’t need evidence to not believe in something.
- Would the world be a better place without religion? Probably not, actually. We’d find other reasons for war. Religion has it’s benefits, especially when coping with death.
- How do you feel about government and politics? If you believe religion should be kept separate from politics, you should not vote for people that hold strong religious beliefs. These things affect our decisions, whether we try to separate the two or not.
- If you could go back in time and kill Hitler/Stalin as babies so they would never kill the millions in the future, would you do it if time travel was possible? No. Killing Hitler/Stalin might not prevent millions from being killed.
- Why is stem cell research so important? http://stemcells.nih.gov/info/basics/basics6.asp
- Is abortion evil? It’s not ideal, but it’s not evil.
- What would the circumstances be for you to approve of torture as an individual? Someone killed a loved one of mine and they were in my custody.
- Should we try to save the animals from going extinct? yes.
- Do you approve of capital punishment? Explain. yes.
- Do you believe in aliens, ghosts, spirits, souls, any supernatural forces? no.
- Would you sacrifice yourself for a loved one with a chance you may end up in hell for being an atheist? Ifearing hell would acknowledge a belief that an afterlife existed. I might sacrifice myself for a loved one, because I do not believe an afterlife exists and I’d want that person to live their life as long as possible.
- Explain in detail the process of death. I’m not sure you want the exact details. Summary: Brain, heart, and lungs stop working.
- Have you ever been dead? no.
